Travel Day- Croatian-Hungarian Border

This blog will be short, sweet, and to the point. We arrived in Budapest today, which meant that we had a border crossing into Hungary from Croatia. That is literally all that happened today because we had a lot of travel to get to Budapest.
I'm really excited to see the city tomorrow. Most of our stops from this point onward we will be spending two nights at which means that we will have at least a full day to see the city. Budapest was one of the cities that was an afterthought when booking my vacation but the more I read about it, the more excited I became for this city.
There are a couple cool things to mention. Our bus driver, David, is actually from Budapest. This makes it really cool because he knows the area and the language. It was the city he was most looking forward to on the trip so it's cool for him to be back. Also, the Hungarian Florint is super cheap. For about 57 American Dollars I was able to withdraw 15,000 Florint. It was kinda a cool experience.
Tomorrow we will see the city. We are on the back half of the Contiki and working our way back towards the western European countries. We have a couple more stops before Switzerland and Germany, but in a week we will be in Munich for Oktoberfest.
