Montenegro

We are officially in Croatia! This will be the longest we will be in a country on the Contiki until we get to Germany. We have a total of four nights in Croatia, three in Dubrovnik. Today was a unique day because we had meals in three different countries. We had breakfast in Albania, lunch in Montenegro, and dinner in Croatia. It is nice to get back to the European Union.
My trip through the Balkans has been very nice. It's been nice to see something other than Western Europe. It has definitely been an eye opener in some places. Today, we stopped in Montenegro for about two hours and twenty minutes. Montenegro uses the Euro although it is not in the European Union or the Euro Zone. It is beginning to get a lot of tourism because the beaches are beautiful. I was really bummed because I didn't see a Montenegro flag the entire time we were there. We walked along the beach and saw what there is to see and then grabbed some lunch. After lunch, we swam a bit and just relaxed on the beach. That was basically the entire day because most of it was travel so there aren't too many photos. The next few days should be more interesting because tomorrow we have a walking tour of Dubrovnik and a cruise as well. In the mean time, enjoy the pictures of the beach.
